Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Dynavision on visual attention in a stroke patient with unilateral neglect.

Methods : A single-subject research with AB design was employed in this study. The patient showed a left-hemiplegia caused by a stroke. Dynavision was used for the training and evaluation of focal visual attention, peripheral visual attention, visual scanning, and visual response. During the baseline phase, Dynavison treatments were not offered, and response time and frequency to light were recorded for 4 sessions. In the treatment phase, response time and frequency were tested at the end of the treatment for every session. The Dynavision treatment program included visual tracking and self-paced and digital flash tasks. Treatments were performed for 12 sessions during 3 weeks. The severity of unilateral neglect was measured using a line bisection test.

Results : The results showed improvements during the treatment phase. The response frequency to light increased and the response times decreased over the baseline state.

Conclusion : Dynavision is a useful tool to improve visual attention and to reduce unilateral neglect in patients after a stroke.
